Tahun ni akan ramai ahli CX yg akan bertukar status dari bujang kepada kurang bujang berkahwin. Congrats kepada CX’s senior photographer, cik Atina (sekarang dh Pn.) yang selamat diijabkabulkan dengan pasangannya en Azidi!

Majlis ringkas tetapi penuh dengan kemeriahan! oleh sbb Pn Tina berstatus senior, so terpaksa la senior2 CX yg pegi menembak… (wpun sbnrnya hud & jubey xdpt datang sbb ada hal len, hehe)

New Nikon Service Centre

Just at the right time my gadget need helps, Nikon launch its first Service Centre at Time Square. Actually, it has nothing to do with CX, but most of us (and coming soon, all of us :D) are Nikonian.

As I heard, it is the biggest Nikon Service Centre at Asia South East Asia. Located at the first floor (near Borders), it is so easy to be found, easier than to find the Nikon office at PJ. So what can you have by coming by?

1. You got help from the Nikon. yup, ask them anything and they’ll try to help you in anyway possible. After all, they are official Service Centre right?
2. Play around with gadgets. If you are SLR lovers, here you can play alot with all the expensive body and lens. They put their main gun (D3x) for you to try and test it. If you bring ur SLR body, you are allow to test many difference choices of lens. they will say “As you wish..” or sort of.
3. See the predecessor. It is like Nikon museum. You can see all Nikon DSLR body from the beginning up till the latest one along with awards they gain. Not just that, you can also see their SLR body structure in pieces.
4. Miniature for the macro lovers. They put a set in the middle, so you can try play around with macro lenses. Either you buy it or borrow it from them.
5. Gallery Corner. Walk around to see result taken by Nikon.
6. Buy & Order. For sure they’ll let you booking rare items which hard to have before.

The Street Photography Outing

As korang tau, my camera didn’t goes very well coz ada kerosakan internal skit.. xtau mengapa. but after took few jpeg shot, corrupted. n from last experience, almost half photos are corrupted and can’t be help. so mse outing tu try gamble back to RAW… RAW is beautiful in the result but not so beautiful when you see ur hard disk space. onced I knew Lightroom can edit JPEG almost the same as it edit RAW, I switched to JPEG.

Bile balik, I transfer photos, and bukak lightroom… then I realize back, that there is no where dat jpeg can beat RAW. the exposure and colors are controllable without loss. photos are great! and most important, xde photo yg corrupt

CX first outing!

Yup, you read it correctly… we organize a free outing, available to whoever so called photographer Xkira la DSLR ke, SLR ke, PNS ke… as long korang de passion utk menembak then u’re invited!

Xde fill in form or wat so ever, cuma datang je ari sabtu ni 9 Jan 2010 jam 8.00pg and berkumpul kt eskelator menara maybank. Then kta akan menembak ramai2 dari area puduraya smpai la ke area bukit bintang…

Tema kita pecahkan kpd dua… first kt area puduraya, kita amik tema ‘KL: The Different Side”… means korang amik la gmbar2 yg menunjukkan duk kt kl ni bkn mudah… ada yg datang jauh dari kampung, semata2 nk carik duit, ada yg mintak derma, ada yg keje jd ulat bas semata2 utk hidup. (amaran: sila jaga keselamatan diri dan peralatan, kerana kami xtanggung pape… kitaorg cme organize jerk)

My beloved D70s

Among many numbers of Nikon model, D70s is my first choice. The reason is, I use that camera and it is the first and only DSLR i have, bought it using my own pocket money (while study), cash.

I bought my D70s on 22nd Jan 2006. The robustness really help me go beyond. Great moment captured, and great moment using it.

Now for the first time, something is going on with it… photos suddenly corrupted, and sometimes card can’t be read. maybe something wrong is going on with the chip (arghhh!)…

So I guess I have to send it back to Nikon for some checks. no choice… or is it? wat about having a new body??? (otak jahat telah menular :P). nway, I just love my camera… and all my stuff

Welcome 2010

So 2009 had past… many experience gather and many moment captured. It was a great year for CX, where we had grow in numbers of team members and numbers of jobs assign ;) So what we have for 2010? I just updated the package and promotion page, including new package offer and first group of promotions.

Engagement: Zainal & Erin

Salam… yesterday shoot for another mate’s event. This time it’s my roomate / housemate named Zainal. So kne bekerja keras untuk beliau smlm… hehe. wpun event start lambat pd kul4 (in plan 2.30pm), but it allow us (me+tina+ina) to have a simple portraiture session for Erin.

Lokasi bertempat di Kuantan, Pahang. The longest engagement job penah shoot (12pm-6.30pm), sib baik la client roomate sendiri dan x disengajakan… kalau x memang nk kene caj lebey -tuan2 dan puan2 sila la set timing utk event korang ngan betul.

konsep portraiture kali ni simple jer… di blok rumah pengantin. so di bawah ni is collection from my camera. chekidaut!

As usual, sy choose wide lens… my favorites. while jubey take 70-300 and faizal 18-105. Sorry, dun have their photos so I just upload mine here. My style, personally I’m not prefer over after editing. sbb tu la sy deliver photo client just the way it is (very minor editing). no HDR and effects. unless requested.

Just now I found a basic editing function, which I never intended to try it before. And the result was superb! It makes ur photos another leap ahead. see the results here…

Khai & Mus

weekend kali ni sy telah ke Melaka dgn en Jubey. Big day for Ms Khai and husband barunya iaitu en Mus. Mjlis yg penuh dgn istiadat ni telah pun berlangsung di Sg Udang. pada mlm jumaat berlangsungnya mjlis akad nikah dan malam berinai. Sy try utk upload skit2 as preview tp kelihatan terlalu byk gmbar menarik utk dikongsikan, huhu.
